Our Roses: Floribundas

This is one of the most useful groups of roses. Floribundas come in all shapes, sizes and colors. They flower freely all summer; make excellent landscape plants and give you armloads of roses to cut! Many have wonderful perfumes. The typical plant is bushy, grows to about 3 feet, and has large clusters of roses on strong stems.

Easy Going
We are thrilled to offer a golden yellow version of the rose 'Fellowship' aka 'Easy Living' rose. It's identical in every way to Fellowship, but has a soft, golden yellow flower. Our test plants have been remarkable. Both of these roses are highly recommended. Lightly scented. It's a super garden plant in every way.

Fellowship/Living Easy
This has to be the most reliable, free-blooming Flora's in the world! The color is brilliant shades of orange and yellow, always pure and fresh , never harsh. The foliage is dark, glossy green and highly resistant to disease. Our bed of Fellowship at the nursery blooms steadily from June until hard frost. It's simply one of the best garden plants you can have. We are thrilled to offer a golden yellow version of this rose, called 'Easy Going' this year. It's identical in every way to 'Fellowship' but has a soft, golden yellow flower. ' Both are highly recommended. Lightly scented.

Pretty Lady
100% Blackspot Free. No spraying no fussing. Pretty lady is a delicate soft flower on an ultra hardy healthy plant. She grows with amazing vigour to about 3 foot rounded. The buds are a lovley pointed rose shape and open to decorate pastel pink roses with a warm glow to them. The plants are covered with thick green immaculant foliage. This is a top performing garden rose and one that should be included in every public landscape. Easy as healthy as the popular 'flower-carpet' brand of roses.

Julia Child

This rose is just as remarkable as the women it was named after. Julia is hands down the best rose in her colour class and I would even say she is the best floribunda to be introduced in the past decade. Everyone finds this rose to be a superb garden plant, robust in habit and extremley healthy. I actually have never seen this roses looking bad! The flowers are a warm golden yellow and posses the most intriguing anise licorice fragrance. She makes a wonderful cut flower for compact bouquets! Simply and outstanding rose that should be in everyones collection. Excellent for mass bedding out or hedges. Also looks good in large containers.

Black Cherry

This rose has really impressed me the last few seasons. One of the city parks I consult with planted a huge bed of Black Cheery and its been simply amazing in both flower and plant. The roses are deep black red in bud, dark cherry red in flower and seem to last and last. They hold up well to rain and double as an excellent cut flower! You will find some on single stems and others in clusters. The foliage is very dark glossy green and healthy! What more could you ask for in a rose? I think this is a wonderful bedding rose that will be popular for years.
