Hybrid Tea roses are the most popular class of the modern rose. They are well suited for todays smaller gardens as well as mass planting. The typical Hybrid Tea rose carries one large bloom per stem, but many varieties will also have multiple side buds. They make outstanding cut flowers, and come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Our selection includes many fragrant varieties as well as highly rated garden roses.

Listed Below is just a sample of some favorite Hybrid Tea Roses we carry. Visit our nursery for a complete selection.

ElinaElina

One of the most beautiful roses we grow. The color is a soft, pleasing cream-yellow and changes slightly with the weather. It's one of the highest rated garden roses in the UK and was hybridized in Ireland by the great Dicksons Rose Nursery. Everyone that grows this rose falls in love her. The flowers are large and elegant in all stages. Very fast repeat bloom cycle and easy to grow as well! If you visit one of the "limited" or "no-spray" public rose gardens you see Elina looking healthy and robust. A true star in the garden.

Gerda HnatyshynGerda Hnatyshyn

Hybridized by Brad Jalbert. This is my first introduction to the Hybrid Tea rose market; it flourishes on the west coast. Gerda is very vigorous and has the most remarkable thick, deep glossy foliage that we have ever seen on a Hybrid Tea rose. The blooms have long shapely buds and open slowly to a flawless medium-pink flower. The stems are long and straight, perfect for cutting or just showing off in the garden. But is it fragrant you ask!! Well, of course my gardening friends, the scent is deep and intoxicating; much like our beloved old-fashioned style roses. This Hybrid Tea is vigorous enough for us to grow own-root; the preferred method for cold winter areas. Gerda is a real work horse in the garden.

New ZealandLasting Love

Everyone wants a fragrant red rose! This is an incredible new introduction from France that is sure to please even the most discerning noses! I love the fragrance of this rose but the foliage is what really makes me tingle. Lasting Loves new growth has the deepest maghony colour that I have ever seen on a rose. The folaige is thick, and so highly polished you just have to touch it. As the leaves age they turn deep green and cover the plant from top to bottom. Her plant habit is bushy robust, free blooming, with superb branching. Shall I go on? Amazing new rose introduction. The only thing I can't describe to a T is the colour! Its sometimes dark velvety red, other times has a pinkish glow to it. Excellent rain tolerance as well.

Rosemary HarknessRosemary Harkness

Yet another modern rose with a wonderful perfume. I love her ever-changing blends of orange apricot and yellow. The fragrance reminds me of citrus and is strongly pronounced in wet weather (a good thing in our climate!). The plants are vigorous and very free blooming. Easily the best selling Hybrid Tea rose we have. One of my favorite roses of all time and a firm garden favorite here on the Westcoast. Rosemary seems to have a favorite spot in every gardeners heart. A truly classic rose. One is not enough!

This is an outstanding Hybrid Tea rose, hybridized by Gareth Fryer of England. It has won more international rose awards than we could list here and has proven to be an excellent garden rose here in Canada. The color is gorgeous, peachy-coral slightly different from one flush of bloom to the next. This bush is extremely vigorous and easy to grow. Grows upright and produces masses of flowers.

Highly Recommended. Pleasant fruity rose fragrance.
