The 'Baqi Billah Maulana Shaykh Nazim' rose has an unusual name for a unique dedication. Commissioned to honour the work of a Sufi spiritual leader and his followers, the first plants of this hybrid tea rose have been shipped to Cyprus.  The story of the rose has also been translated into Turkish, and has crossed many cultures.

Baqi's double, medium-red blooms are held on large, upright shrubs, that grow between three and four feet in height.  Plants will be available from Select Roses in spring, or by mail order through Palatine Fruit & Roses of Ontario.
