Big Brother, Hybrid Tea, hybridized by Brad Jalbert
Named for my older brother Randal’s 50th birthday, Big Brother is as dependable and reliable as he is—cheerful and ready to perform. After a few years away, we’re delighted our Canadian growers have brought this beauty back to the program.
Big Brother is highly disease resistant and thrives in part shade and less-than-ideal conditions. Large blooms in warm peachy tones appear singly on long stems and in generous trusses. Deep, high-gloss green foliage stays healthy and disease-free, creating a perfect-looking bush about 3–4 feet tall. Blooms are largest in cooler weather. A light fruit-citrus fragrance adds charm.
Versatile and reliable, Big Brother is an excellent addition to any garden—from formal beds to mixed plantings.
