Hybrid tea. Named after one of the most famous rose breeders, the creator of the legendary "Peace" rose. Francis has a strong sweet citrus like rose perfume blessing each of its flawless shell pink long stem blooms. The form is classic Hybrid tea, foliage is thick deep lush green and highly resistant to disease. The bush is powerfully growing upright with loads of blooms! This is a superb garden or specimen rose and needs ample room as it can grow as large as you wish. It's one fault is that its slightly winter tender so if you happen to live in an open wind swept area you will want to plant it deep and hill it for winter. It's proven a great rose in most of our local no spray parks. I would rate it one of the top 5 fragrant roses I have ever sniffed, but for quality and quantity of fragrance! Gorgeous in every way. Superb as a cutting garden.
