FAQs

Do you mail order / ship roses?

Select Roses is a retail nursery. All roses purchased from our nursery must be picked up at 22771 38 Avenue in Langley, British Columbia, during regular business hours.

Where can I buy your roses?

If you are unable to visit our Langley, BC nursery, we encourage you to visit the fine garden centres in the Lower Mainland, and the mail order nurseries in BC and Ontario, which are stockists of our roses. Licensed growers world wide are producing our varieties for sale in their local markets; we are unable to list them all. Please enquire with your favourite local, independent garden centre.

Do you wholesale roses?

Locally, we work with a handful of quality independent garden retailers. If you are located in the Lower Mainland, please contact us. In Canada, find Jalbert varieties at JC Bakker & Sons. Internationally, please contact Select Roses’ agent, Dylan Rees for licensing inquiries.

Is growing roses as hard as it seems?

Rose-growing is rewarding to non-gardeners and avid plants-people alike. Success begins with choosing modern roses with outstanding health, planting them in the best possible location, and learning a little about their care. We can help!

Do you guarantee your roses?

We guarantee our roses when planted and cared for according to our Rose Care basics. If a dormant rose fails to leaf out despite proper care, we will happily replace or refund your purchase; please note that some roses are slower to leaf than others so a couple months’ grace may be required in a cool spring.

We guarantee our roses to be true to name: if a rose blooms out to be different than tagged, please notify us immediately for replacement or refund.

We cannot guarantee plants against unpredictable or extreme weather conditions; gardeners know that we are ultimately at the mercy of Mother Nature.

We cannot guarantee against neglect; roses are living and require care. If you feel that your rose is not doing well, please contact us for the very best growing advice.
